The whimsical Redstone Earflap Hat is the perfect hat for a sleigh ride in the snow or to go caroling on Christmas Eve. The earflaps will keep your ears nice and warm; and if that isn't reason enough to knit up a Redstone for yourself, consider this: you'll just look adorable and oh-so-festive!

The Redstone is knit on a 5/8” gauge, 48-peg Knifty Knitter purple loom and uses approximately 90 yards of a #5 bulky weight yarn. Lion Brand Lion's Pride Woolspun in the Tomato colorway was used in the sample.

Because of the increases in the earflap sections, this pattern is suitable for an intermediate loom knitter. If you're a confident beginner who can follow pattern instructions and are ready to take on a new skill, this pattern could work for you too!
